This is the latest software-defined SDR6-V4 radio receiver released by HTOOL, featuring an RTL2832U ADC chip, an R860 tuner, a 1PPM TCXO, SMAf connectors, and an aluminum enclosure with passive cooling. It operates in the 500 kHz to 1.7 GHz range, with a bandwidth of up to 3.2 MHz (stable at 2.4 MHz). It is ideal for use as a computer-based radio scanner with free software such as SDR#, HDSDR, SDR-Radio, GQRX, or SDR Touch on Android. It runs on Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, and Raspberry Pi.

It is well-suited for many applications, including general-purpose radio scanning, air traffic control, public safety, ADS-B aviation radar, maritime AIS, ACARS, cluster radio, digital voice P25/MotoTRBO, POCSAG, weather balloons, APRS, NOAA APT/Meteor-M2 weather satellites, radio astronomy, DAB, or as an inexpensive pan adapter with a radio receiver.
